Pickleball clinic April 29

April 19, 2016

Join us Friday, April 29, for a free Pickleball clinic with Paul Amnott.

When: April 29, Noon - 1 p.m.
Where: YMCA Gymnasium
Free and open to the public.

Pickleball is a low-impact sport that combines ping pong, tennis and badminton for a fast-paced, fun cardio activity appropriate for all ages.

The clinic will cover proper grip, serving, dinking (yes, dinking), scoring, ready position, strategy, and helpful do's and don'ts.

Paul Amnott is a former athletic director at Lewiston High School.

Those who want more Pickleball in their lives are invited to play at the Y every Friday, noon to 2 p.m. as well as 5 to 7 p.m. We have two courts available: one for beginners, and a more advanced court. Paddles and balls are provided. Pre-registration is recommended.

For more information about Pickleball at the YMCA, contact Becky Walker at bwalker@alymca.org or 795-4095.
