Gymnastics Levels:

Tiny Tots

This level is for ages 3 ½ through 5 years of age. The instructors begin with basic rolls, handstands, hangs on bars, swings, and holds. They are introduced to beam and balancing, exploring different heights, and core stability. The various jumps for vault are introduced. Lessons in taking turns and following directions are incorporated by caring instructors.

Beginner I

This class is designed for 6 through 8-year-olds or youngsters who have not taken gymnastics classes before, may be timid, or reluctant to try new activities. The class is geared to teaching fundamental skills on all the events in a safe setting. Students are encouraged to use thinking skills and try new skills.

Beginner II

This class is designed for kids ages 9 & up, building upon basic skills by adding core strength. A student that shows growth in the Beginner I class is often placed in this class to gain more challenging skills such as handsprings (front and back), front and back circling skills on bars, as well as additional upper body strength. Basic inverted skills such as handstands on beam are introduced and built upon. Vault is taught using a state of the art vault system for safety.
