Registration takes place at the YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston.
62 Turner Street in Auburn (next to the County Courthouse).
Hours: M-F 4:30am to 9:00pm; Sat/Sun 7:00am-5:00pm.

The program is run out of the Lewiston Armory. 65 Central Avenue in Lewiston.
• Tuesday: April 25; May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; June 6, 13.
• Thursday: April 27; May 4, 11, 18, 25; June 1, 8, 15.

This level is for ages 3 ½ through 5 years of age. The instructors begin with basic rolls, handstands, hangs on bars, swings, and holds. They are introduced to beam and balancing, exploring different heights, and core stability. The various jumps for vault are introduced. Lessons in taking turns and following directions are incorporated by caring instructors.
On-Line Registration: Tuesdays 4:15-5:15pm
This class is designed for 6 through 8-year-olds or youngsters who have not taken gymnastics classes before, may be timid, or reluctant to try new activities. The class is geared to teaching fundamental skills on all the events in a safe setting. Students are encouraged to use thinking skills and try new skills.
On-Line Registration: Tuesdays 5:15-6:16pm
This class is designed for kids ages 9 & up, building upon basic skills by adding core strength. A student that shows growth in the Beginner I class is often placed in this class to gain more challenging skills such as handsprings (front and back), front and back circling skills on bars, as well as additional upper body strength. Basic inverted skills such as handstands on beam are introduced and built upon. Vault is taught using a state of the art vault system for safety.
Practice time for Team Gymnasts:5:15-8:15pm on Tuesdays and 4:00-6:30pm on Thursdays
This program is designed to teach and promote fair play, skills, and sportsmanship while working toward team and individual goals. Pre-Team and Team participants need prior approval of the coach in order to register.
This program is affiliated with the YMCA Pine Tree Gymnastics League for competition purposes and requires a YMCA membership fee. Registration for the Season will open on October 17th, and offer a payment plan for families if desired.
Pre-Team (level 2) and Team (level 3 & up) must meet coach approval prior to registration.
