Youth Field Hockey offers youth in grades 1–8 an opportunity to develop their skills and build confidence as part of a team. Coaches empower players to challenge themselves while fostering good sportsmanship and collaboration.

Some travel for scrimmages will be required, though we will be hosting what we can at AMS. Potential destinations include: Poland, Lisbon, Raymond, AYS, Sabattus, and Gardiner. If there is a weekend where no scrimmage is scheduled, then practice will be held at AMS on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. A program calendar will be made available on 9/16 and updated

All players must provide their own GOGGLES, stick, shin guards, and mouthpiece.
WHAT: An indoor field hockey program! Players will be separated by grade. The program runs one hour a week, for 6 weeks. Players will receive 15-20 minutes of instruction, then skills & drills and scrimmage for the remaining hour.
WHEN: Sundays, March 26 - May 7, 8-9 a.m.
WHERE: Ingersoll Arena Turf Facility, 48 Pettingill Park in Auburn.
Registration is now open at the YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston, located at 62 Turner Street in Auburn. Space is limited to 40 players to maximize playing time. Cost for the program is $55 for Y members and $70 for non-members.
