2013 Corporate Challenge Series
The Corporate Challenge Series is a year-long series of events that pits companies against each other in different, friendly competitions to achieve three goals:
- Improve employee relationships
- Improve employee well-being
- Support your local Y and community

Active employees are healthier, happier, and more productive. Good exercise, education and nutrition contribute to the well-being of your best assets: your employees. Statistics show that employees who live an active lifestyle are less likely to get sick; they have more energy and more self confidence; they are less stressed and achieve goals.

June – YMCA Fitfest 5K & Benchpress
July – Cornhole/Ladderball Tournament
August – Disc Golf
September – YMCA Golf Tournament presented by NAPA
October – Break/Make up event - allows for softball rainout
November – Celebration Event recognizing the Corporate Cup Winner
The schedule of events offers something for all of your employees, from the already fit to the wanting to get active. In addition to the main team that represents your company, you are able to enter additional teams per event for an additional fee. This allows for even more of your employees to enjoy the fun and healthy competitive atmosphere that we hope to create with the Corporate Challenge Series.
Choose to participate in a couple events or the whole series. Your company team may include different employee participants for each event, or the same ones throughout the year. Individual event costs vary but average is about $200 or invest in the full series at $2,000 and receive the Softball Tournament free! Each event is scored and weighted. Ratings are tracked to determine the series Corporate Cup Winner! Event shirts for each participant and series newsletters capturing each event included. Good water cooler conversation, cohesion-building exercise, and health promoting activities for the company – beneficial for everyone!
