USATF Certified #ME03005RF. Moderately flat over many bridges including a railroad pedestrian bridge. The race runs along the Androscoggin River and crosses both Lewiston and Auburn.

Course Description
USATF Certified #ME03004RF. Flat and fast! The race begins at the corner of Court and Main Streets Participants will run in both Auburn and Lewiston, over two bridges and along the Riverwalk.

As an “Activate America” YMCA, the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is committed to supporting kids, teens, adults, and families of Androscoggin County in their journey to create and sustain a healthy lifestyle. We are committed to being an integral part of our community’s efforts to make long-lasting changes that support healthy living. The scholarship money raised will help children attend Camp Connor, the YMCA summer camp program, as well as participate in other programs.

Beneficiary – The Fletcher Foundation
Emily Fletcher grew up in Auburn and attended Edward Little High School. She was a standout runner in cross-country and track. In Dec., 2004, at age 21, Emily’s life was tragically taken in a car accident. In her memory and spirit, the Emily Fletcher Memorial 5K (Emily’s Run) was established to both celebrate her life and raise funds for two college scholarships in her name and a donation to the Auburn Public Library.

Registration Fee: $20 and registration forms are available at the Member Service Desk at the Y.
