NEW WEEKEND HOURSWe've extended our weekend hours! We are now open 7:00a.m.-5:00p.m on Saturdays and Sundays.Swim Team RegistrationRegistration is now open for Twin Cities Swim Team. The program is open to boys and girls ages 5-18. YMCA NAPA tournament nets $30K for kids

Thirty-five teams turned out on Sept. 15 for the 7th annual YMCA NAPA Charity Golf Tournament, netting $30,387.The event took place at Martindale Country Club in Auburn and featured more than 50 sponsors from the local business community.All proceeds will benefit the YMCA’s financial assistance program, which last year gave away more than $95,000 in scholarships to local children and families who would not otherwise be able to participate in enrichment programs at the Y, including summer… read more…

National Guard begins work at YMCA outdoor center

The Maine Army National Guard's 262nd Engineer Company (Horizontal) is moving forward with construction of a new parking lot at the YMCA's outdoor education center. Work began Aug. 2 on North River Road in Auburn. The Guard project is part of the ongoing development of the Y's 93-acre Outdoor Education & Learning Center.The labor and equipment for the project is provided through the Guard's Innovative Readiness Training Program. Please be aware that the Y pool will be closed Aug. 27 - Sept. 11 for routine annual maintenance.Every year, we conduct a major shutdown of our pool to make sure the structure is clean and safe. This includes draining the pool, a thorough cleaning and inspection, as well as allowing time for refilling and balancing chemicals.We plan to reopen the pool for regularly scheduled activities on Sept. 12. Rotary Breakfast Club makes landmark gift to YMCA

The Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club announces a gift of $5,500 toward development of the YMCA’s outdoor education center.The gift is the largest single project contribution in any given year in the history of the Rotary Breakfast Club's 25 years of community giving.
