Registration is now open for youth sports and Session 4 of swim lessons.
Whether your child is an experienced athlete or a beginner, the YMCA has a variety of sports suitable for kids ages 3.5-12+ years. Member and non-member rates apply, and financial assistance is available for qualifying households. Follow the links for more information about each program.
All registrations take place at the YMCA at 62 Turner Street, Auburn, or by phone at 795-4095. New, non-member participants must register in person.
Swim lessons are progressive, with multiple levels starting with Parent & Baby (6 mo.-2 years). Not sure which class to register for? Free swim testing is available during Family Swim (members only).
For children ages 3.5 - 17 years, this program takes place at the Lewiston Armory.
For boys and girls ages 4-6, this program is designed to teach the basics of T-ball, including throwing, fielding, running the basis, and hitting. Program takes place at the YMCA.
The wildly popular dance fitness class has been tailored to kids, emphasizing childhood leadership elements like respect, leadership, memory, and cultural awareness.
Each practice includes 15-20 minutes of instruction, followed by drills and scrimmage. Players must provide their own equipment. Program takes place at Ingersoll Arena Turf Facility, 48 Pettingill Park, Auburn.
