After School Care (Let’s Move)

The YMCA Before and After School programs nurture the potential of children and youth by helping them cultivate the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement.

School age care at the Y offers convenient hours and locations. Before School Care at the Y starts at 6am serving Lewiston and Auburn Elementary Schools. After School Care at the YMCA on Turner Street in Auburn serves all Auburn public schools; Geiger Elementary School in Lewiston serves Geiger Elementary School; and Montello Elementary School serves Montello, Farwell, McMahon, and Martel students at the end of the school day and is available until 6pm.

Our programs offer activities based on the needs and learning styles of children and youth that promote physical fitness, social interactions, positive peer behavior, supportive adult relationships and homework assistance provided by caring, experienced, certified staff. Safe, reliable transportation is provided by Northeast Charter & Tour to and from school to our programs.
